This hotel is a hidden gem nestled in the beautiful mountains surrounding the valley. The rooms are decorated in a charming Nordic style, and my room had a balcony with a magnificent view of the mountains. The bed was large and comfortable with extra pillows, ensuring a good night's sleep. The breakfast options were simple but delicious, with local produce. The staff were friendly and attentive, making me feel welcomed throughout my stay.
All was perfect, nothing could be improved.

Rooms clean and comfortable although somewhat work in progress.
We were not made to feel welcome in the hotel. The hotel owner in particular was perhaps so relaxed he forgot that he was there to provide a fee-paying service.

The hotel itself was great, very clean and a relaxed atmosphere.
I did not know the area at all and it was not until after I has confirmed my booking that the system made it clear how far from the lifts and village the hotel was. This made getting to the lifts very difficult as we did not have a car - telling me I need a car if I stay at the hotel on the confirmation of booking page after I have paid and cannot cancel is not very helpful.

The hotel facilities were great, including the cozy rooms and the stunning view from the balcony. The hotel staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. Transportation was easily accessible, and the hotel provided parking.
Nothing could have been better.

Hotel du Pillon is a hotel with a soul: pleasant, relaxed, warm ambience with a combination of good art paintings and decor. Hotel personnel were friendly and professional. Room was newly renovated and very comfortable with an excellent view of the glacier and mountains.

A perfect stay. The hotel manages to combine seclusion and privacy with the feeling of being a family home. It's near some amazing late season glacier skiing and Gstaad and has the most spectacular views of high mountains and green valleys. We'll be coming back! Chris and Anna.

Enjoyed my Xmas break with lovely views of snowy mountains. The accommodation was cozy and perfect for the holidays. Appreciated the shuttle services which came in handy when we needed transportation. The owner was very friendly and welcoming, which added to the homely atmosphere. Plus, there was an impressive collection of DVDs that kept us entertained indoors.
The room was quite small, but well-equipped with all the basics. , the ski area nearby was a bit limited, with only basic skiing opportunities.

Breakfast, the common rooms at the ground floor, the quiet, the scenery, the renovated rooms are very pretty. The owner is very kind, warm and well-mannered. There is a home feel about the hotel and the owner, seeing that we were three people instead of four, asked us to pay a smaller price than expected.
This is a charming hotel which is being renovated. The pictures portrayed a very nice hotel with cosy chalet rooms. This is indeed the case except for room 14, the family room, which was really not up to the part (the bunk bed had no protection and was so noisy we could not sleep for two nights, the mirrors had no lights and the toilet was outside of the room at the end of the corridor!). On top of this, the cleaning lady forgot to make up our room! The walk from the hotel to the center of town is more like 20 minutes than 12... (although the walk is indeed quite lovely).

The staff was very friendly and the owner was very helpful to drop us off or pick us up from the station (20mins walk from the hotel). The food was excellent!
The location was a little far but the owner was helpful to drive us around.

The attention to detail throughout the hotel was impressive, from the beautifully decorated rooms with their balconies offering magnificent views of the mountains, to the common areas filled with interesting artwork and magazines. Moreover, the location was perfect for exploring the stunning surrounding area, with the nearest bus stop conveniently close by. And let's not forget the delicious breakfast, offering a variety of choices with some delightful local produce.
All was more than okay at this hotel.

Overpriced, particularly considering the hotel is in the process of renovation, with wiring showing and boards left lying in public areas.
